PetFetch ("we", "us", or "our") operates the PetFetch mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Information We Collect
We collect the following information to provide the PetFetch service:
- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect a username and password to authenticate your access.
- Pet Data: Information you enter about your pets, including names, health records, medications, vaccinations, appointments, and photos.
- Usage Analytics: We collect anonymous usage data to improve the app experience, such as feature usage patterns and crash reports.
- Device Tokens: If you enable push notifications, we collect your device token to send the reminders you configure.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to:
- Provide and maintain the PetFetch service
- Send push notification reminders you have configured
- Analyze anonymous usage patterns to improve the app
- Respond to your support requests
Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data. Your data is used exclusively to provide and improve the PetFetch service. We share data only with the third-party service providers listed below, and only as necessary to operate the app.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate and improve PetFetch. Each provider is contractually required to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy:
- Mixpanel: Used for anonymous usage analytics to help us understand how features are used and identify issues. No personally identifiable information is sent to Mixpanel.
- RevenueCat: Used to manage Pro subscription purchases and entitlements. RevenueCat processes subscription transaction data provided by Apple and does not receive your pet data or account password.
- Apple: Push notification delivery is handled through Apple Push Notification service (APNs). Apple processes your device token to deliver the notifications you have configured.
Data Security
Your data is stored securely on our servers using industry-standard security measures. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the PetFetch service to you. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, you may do so from within the app or by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon receiving a deletion request, we will permanently delete your personal data and pet records from our servers within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You may also withdraw consent for data collection by discontinuing use of the app. To exercise any of these rights or to request a copy of your data, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond to all data requests within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
PetFetch does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.

Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of PetFetch, the iOS app for managing your pets’ health and information. By downloading or using PetFetch, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using PetFetch, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the developer of PetFetch.
License
PetFetch grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app, nor may you reverse-engineer or attempt to extract its source code.
App Store
This agreement is between you and the developer of PetFetch only, not Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for PetFetch or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance, support, or any other services for PetFetch.
Pro Subscription
PetFetch offers an optional Pro subscription that unlocks additional features. Subscriptions are auto-renewable and billed through your Apple ID via the App Store. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. To cancel, go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store’s refund policies.
Your Content
You retain ownership of all pet data and photos you add to PetFetch. Your content is private and is never shared publicly or with third parties. By using PetFetch, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the service to you.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use PetFetch only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not reverse-engineer, copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app, nor use it for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.
Push Notifications
PetFetch may send push notifications to remind you of upcoming appointments, medications, and other pet care events. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in your device’s Settings app.
Analytics
PetFetch uses Mixpanel to collect anonymous usage data to help us improve the service. This data does not include personally identifiable information and is not shared or sold to third parties. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property
PetFetch and all of its content, features, branding, and functionality are owned by the developer and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use the PetFetch name, logo, or other proprietary materials.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to PetFetch at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms of Use. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.
Minors
PetFetch is available to users of all ages. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use PetFetch.
Disclaimer of Warranties
PetFetch is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of PetFetch is at your sole risk.
Warranty & Apple Refund
The developer of PetFetch is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to PetFetch.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of PetFetch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. If liability is found, it shall not exceed the amount you paid for PetFetch in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Product Claims
The developer of PetFetch, and not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims you or any third party may have relating to PetFetch or your possession and use of the app, including but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
Legal Compliance
You represent and warrant that: (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a United States Government embargo, or that has been designated by the United States Government as a “terrorist supporting” country; and (ii) you are not listed on any United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Third-Party Terms
You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using PetFetch. For example, if you use a VoIP application in conjunction with PetFetch, you must not be in violation of their terms of service.
Third-Party Beneficiary
You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple’s subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms of Use, and that, upon your acceptance of the terms and conditions of these Terms of Use, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms of Use against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
Changes to This Agreement
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of PetFetch after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
